Nivcharot activist Efrat Chocron spoke at a session of the Knesset Committee for National Security that convened to discuss the Prevention of Family Violence Law. “When a Haredi woman calls the police, she is labeled a “snitch.” I hope that the next woman who registers a complaint will feel that someone is backing and supporting her,” Chocron told the committee.
