Eshet Chayil (Women of Valor) has been nominated for an Ophir Award, in the category of Best Documentary Film (of 60 min.or more) . In this film, Anna Somershef tells the story of Nivcharot through the journey of its founder, Esty Shushan, and the stories of additional activists as they fight for equality and representation. The film deals with issues that are considered very controversial in the Haredi community, such as divorce; sexual abuse; service in the IDF; education and careers for women, and female social activism. The prestigious Ophir Awards, dubbed the Israeli Oscars, are film awards for excellence bestowed by the Israeli Academy of Film and Television.
